Censum Affiliates

Affiliate Program terms

These terms keep the program clean for homeowners, affiliates, and Censum. Affiliate approval is selective and referral fees are paid only after review.

Approval required

Applying does not create an affiliate relationship or a right to referral fees. Censum may approve, reject, pause, or remove affiliates at its discretion, especially if an affiliate's audience, claims, or promotion methods create risk for homeowners or the brand.

Qualified referrals

A referral qualifies only when a new customer uses an approved affiliate link, affiliate QR code, affiliate code, or approved manual attribution and completes a paid Censum order or a collected no-risk Success Plan charge.

No-risk Success Plan referrals are not payable at lookup, authorization, or checkout setup. They become reviewable only after Censum verifies a qualifying reduction and successfully collects the fixed Success Plan charge.

Referrals are not payable if they are refunded, charged back, fraudulent, self-referred, duplicated, comped, internal, test orders, generated through misleading claims, or missing required disclosure.

Tracking and attribution

Censum may use partner links, partner codes, approved QR codes, URL parameters, local attribution, referral cookies, and manual review to connect a paid order to an approved affiliate.

Referral cookies, where set, expire after 90 days. Attribution can still be denied or adjusted when a referral is duplicated, self-referred, fraudulent, missing required disclosure, or otherwise outside the approved program rules.

Required disclosure

Affiliates must place a clear paid-referral disclosure close to every Censum endorsement, link, QR code, video, post, email, newsletter, handout, or invoice insert.

Paid referral: I may receive a referral fee if you purchase from Censum. Censum is independent and not affiliated with any county or government office. No savings are guaranteed.

Payout review

Approved founding affiliate referral fees are calculated as 40% of net collected Censum revenue on attributed paid sales and collected no-risk Success Plan charges. Referral fees enter review only after Censum collects the customer charge and are not eligible for payout until at least 35 days after collection. Censum may hold, reverse, or claw back referral fees for refunds, chargebacks, failed Success Plan collections, fraud, self-referrals, attribution disputes, disclosure failures, comped or internal orders, test orders, or prohibited claims.

Restricted promotion

Affiliates may not claim guaranteed savings, legal advice, tax advice, government approval, county affiliation, official-board status, automatic tax relief from renovations or repairs, or any result Censum has not approved in writing. Affiliates may not use spam, scraped contact lists, deceptive coupon pages, fake reviews, brand-bidding ads, forced clicks, cookie stuffing, or private homeowner data without authorization.

Independent parties

Affiliates are independent promoters, not employees, agents, brokers, legal representatives, tax advisors, or government representatives of Censum. Censum may require vendor paperwork before issuing any payout and may update these terms as the program evolves.
